Tekken 8 UK Tournament: Compete for £6,000 in Prizes as Bandai Namco and PlayStation Celebrate 30 Years of Fighting Fun

A new competitive event is on the horizon as Bandai Namco joins forces with PlayStation to host an exciting tournament for Tekken 8 in the UK. This collaboration commemorates three decades of the beloved Tekken series and invites fans to take part in the action. Participants must be located in the UK, possess a copy of Tekken 8, and have a PS Online subscription in order to compete. A generous prize pool of £6,000 will be up for grabs for the top-performing players.

The tournament commenced recently and will feature open qualifiers leading up to November 24. Competitions will take place daily, with matches scheduled on the hour from 18:30 to 21:30 GMT. 

Following the qualifiers, the grand finals will occur on November 30, where the tournament's elite players will face off in a single elimination format. The matches will be structured using a best-of-three arrangement, with the top 16 players having the opportunity to claim part of the prize pool, including a grand prize of £1,500 for the eventual champion.
