Raids Unleashed

June kicks off with thrilling raid events featuring an array of both legendary and Mega Pokémon. As the theme of the Shared Skies season shines through, trainers can expect to see some well-loved flying legends take center stage. Notable Pokémon like Zapdos, Incarnate Forme Landorus, and Yveltal will be participants in five-star raids throughout the month, further enriching the gameplay experience. Additionally, Mega Gyarados, Mega Charizard Y, and Mega Tyranitar will ascend as powerful Mega raid bosses.

Mark your calendars for the following raid schedule:

  • June 1-10: Legendary appearances start.
  • June 10-19: Raid battles intensify.
  • June 19-28: Dave's new challenges arise.
  • June 28-July 8: Closing out the month with spectacular encounters.

Furthermore, trainers will encounter Shadow Raikou as a Shadow Raid boss every weekend throughout June, providing additional opportunities to challenge themselves and earn rewards.

Spotlight on Stardust

Pokémon Go

Every Tuesday night between 6 PM and 7 PM in your local time zone, the thrill of Spotlight Hours ramps up. This particular hour brings a surge of certain Pokémon, offering trainers a fantastic opportunity to expand their collections and gather more candy. Additionally, trainers will be able to enjoy unique bonuses during these hours, which may include double candy or extra Stardust for catching Pokémon, maximizing their efforts. Here’s the Spotlight Hour schedule for June:

  • June 4: A surprise Pokémon awaits!
  • June 11: More opportunities to catch!
  • June 18: Keep your eyes peeled for rare spawns!
  • June 25: Enjoy these final chances!

Unwinding at Slumbering Sands

One of the first major events of the month is titled Slumbering Sands, running from June 7 to June 12. In this tranquil event, trainers can expect sleepy, summery Pokémon like Slowpoke, Drowzee, Munna, and Komala to appear more frequently in the wild. Excitingly, players will have their first chance to catch special visor-wearing versions of Slakoth, Vigoroth, and Slaking, adding a unique twist to the adventure.

Alongside these Pokémon, trainers will earn double XP for capturing Pokémon throughout the event, allowing for a fruitful experience. Special event-themed Field Research tasks will also be available, rewarding trainers with additional Pokémon encounters and various surprises.

Community Days Double Feature

Pokémon Go

This month, Pokémon Go is treating players to an exciting double feature with not one, but two Community Days. Prepare for the first one scheduled on Sunday, June 9, showcasing the charming dragon Pokémon Goomy. Between 2 PM and 5 PM local time, Goomy will be appearing more often, providing trainers plenty of chances to snag some Shiny variants. Additionally, from 5 PM to 10 PM, Goomy's evolution, Sliggoo, will take the stage as a four-star raid boss.

As a highlight of Goomy Community Day, trainers can enjoy an array of bonuses such as extended Lure Module and Incense durations, double candy, and triple Stardust for captures. Notably, any Sliggoo evolved into Goodra during the time period will learn the special Charged Attack Thunder Punch, adding strategic options for battles ahead.

The second event, the Cyndaquil Community Day Classic, occurs on Saturday, June 22. This nostalgic rerun gives trainers another opportunity to catch the fire-type Cyndaquil. Similar to the first Community Day, the times remain the same, and players can expect various bonuses, including increased Incense and Lure Module durations and significant catch XP boosts. Evolving Quilava into Typhlosion will also grant the special Charged Attack Blast Burn between 2 PM and 7 PM, enhancing its battle capabilities.

Spelunker's Cove Adventure

The fun continues with the Spelunker's Cove event from June 15 to June 18. This engaging event will see the emergence of various water- and rock-type Pokémon, such as Shuckle, Marill, and Feebas, appearing more frequently in the wild. A special bonus during this period is the chance to catch a shiny Crabrawler for the first time, making it a must-attend event for collectors.

Egg-citing News with Scorching Steps

From June 21 to June 25, the Scorching Steps event will add an egg-hatching twist to this month's excitement. Throughout the event, certain fire-type Pokémon like Larvesta, Hisuian Growlithe, Turtonator, and Charcadet will emerge from various eggs. There’s even a chance to hatch a shiny Larvesta if luck is on your side.

Moreover, trainers will benefit from reduced hatching requirements, as eggs will hatch at half their usual distance, coupled with double candy rewards for all hatches. New event-themed Field and Timed Research tasks will also be available, providing additional opportunities for rewards, Pokémon encounters, and Stardust upon completion.

The Grand Conclusion with Raid Day

Capping off the month, Pokémon Go will host a special Raid Day on June 29. While details regarding featured Pokémon are still under wraps, the potential return of Mega Rayquaza has stirred excitement among trainers, making it a highly anticipated day for fans of the game. Prepare for a day filled with challenges and raids that could feature other popular Pokémon as well!
